In Memory of
Captain Moses Blackwater
we are honoring our favorite captain for 4 seasons of our event, Moses Two-Toes Blackwater, who has been called by the wind & seas to sail beyond the mortal plane on the waters of eternity. Fierce with playful imagination, generous to all, and free from the vices of rum and spirits, he happily plundered his way through his life. His spirit will live on in our art, our adventures, our festivities, and our memories.
How We're Honoring Him
We will have multiple events & activities dedicated to him & his legacy as a performer.
At this year's event only (2025), there will be an Auction of many of his pirate wares, punctuated by comedy sketches, musical interludes, and overall hijinks.
For the rest of the foreseeable future, people who wish to pay respects will be able to visit the Ship of Recollection, a ship comprised of memories. Any trinket tossed into the hull of the ship will be added to it's decoration, making it an infinite mosaic of year's past.
